A school on "High Reliability Software Development Tools and
Applications" was organised by UNU-IIST and East China Normal
University in Shanghai during 17-30 August. 50 postgraduates from China
attended, plus the current fellows from UNU-IIST. Courses were
taught by Dang Van Hung, Jean-Raymond Abrial, and N. Shankar.
A school on "Advanced Topics in Software Engineering"was
organised by UNU-IIST and the National University in Hanoi during
10-14 October. 30 people from Hanoi and other parts of Vietnam
attended. Courses were taught by Zohar Manna, Antonio Cerone, and
Martin Wirsing.
An International School on "Advanced Topics in Networking, Security
and Verification" was organized by UNU-IIST and Universitas Advent
Indonesia during 28 November - 9 December. 51 people from
Indonesia and Thailand attended. Courses were taught by
Antonio Cerone, Dang Van Hung, and Otto Spaniol.
Liu Zhiming taught an MSc course on "A Relational Method of Program
Construction and Analysis" during 5-16 December 2005 at the
Instituto Technológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) in Brazil. 48
people attended.
Tomasz Janowski taught a course on "XML Technology and Java"
during 28-30 November at the Universidad Nacional San Luis,
Argentina. 15 people attended.

during 5-7 December at the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia
Blanca, Argentina. 23 people attended.
Bernhard K. Aichernig taught a course on "Foundations of
Software Testing" during 11-12 August for the Ministry of Research
and Technology of Indonesia and PDII-LIPI, in Jakarta, Indonesia. 30 people
attended.
Antonio Cerone taught a course on "Formal Aspects of Software
Development" during 8-12 August for PDII-LIPI and the Indonesian
Ministry of Research and Technology in Jakarta. 40 people attended.
Chris George taught a course "Advanced Software Development
using RAISE" during 7-18 February at the University of the South
Pacific, Fiji. 6 people attended.
