This project aims to develop, with partners, open source software for environmental management and health management.  In both areas the aim is to provide, particularly in developing countries, software and other resources, such as documentation and training material, which are

• of hiqh quality
• free of cost
• free to be adapted, localised, extended, etc according to local needs
• supported by an on-line community which can also provide assistance

 Currently the project includes

• the WaterBase  project, which is joint with UNU-INWEH, in Integrated Water Resources Management
• preliminary work with UNU-IIGH on software for health management.
