II/1/3 Curriculum Development

In the Curriculum Development Project professors or lecturers from universities in developing countries come to UNU/IIST for, usually, 3-4 months to develop material for use in undergraduate and post-graduate courses. The material generally complements UNU/IIST's own material used on its advanced development courses. Curriculum development fellows are also able to help UNU/IIST by conducting training courses in their home countries after they complete their fellowships.

Fellows produce a report during their visit and may additionally produce actual teaching material, for example OHP foils.

All the material produced by the fellows, as well as UNU/IIST's own teaching material, is publicly available. It is arranged by course as follows:

  • II/1/3/1 RAISE Course Material
  • II/1/3/2 Mathematics for Computer Science Course Material

  • iistinfo@iist.unu.edu, 26 August 1999
