The present document covers UNU/IIST's activities in 2000. A brief overview is followed by a description of the status of ongoing research in Theory and Design Methods for Real-time Systems, Formal Techniques for Software Development, Curriculum Development Project and Development of Computer Science Departments in Developing Countries. This is followed by reports on UNU/IIST's Fellowship programme, advanced courses, events and academic meetings, Off-Shore R&D projects, and administrative matters. UNU/IIST's activities in China are reported, as are its linkages to UNU and other UN organisations. The last section gives an outline of planned activities for 2001.
