Virtual Libraries

The aims of the project are

• to expand the online digital library of UN research reports, which was developed within the RUN project in 2004-2005;
• explore becoming the centre for all UNU e-learning materials;
• transfer digital library and e-learning technologies to developing countries;
• provide support to local libraries and organisations in Macao and China to enhance their local virtual libraries;
• carry out research in the field of digital libraries.
